New Year’s resolution—is the only solution!

Cliché! Cliché! People will always promise the things that they will do and will not each time they welcome another year; I’ve done that too many times. When I was about 9 yrs old my little self have come to learn the meaning of New Year’s resolution. Based on what I’ve understand it’s something you made up to sound cool, nice and pretend that you’re some sort of goody two shoes or trying to act like one of the norms (because everyone’s vowing their resolutions and so you join the dumdumb), but in reality it’s something you realized and hope to change but always fail, because in reality that’s just your imagination run riot, in the end you feel bad after assessing all your failures! Yeah I’m giving you the liberty of pitying my NYR meaning lols!

BUT! But! But! I’m going to change my style; I Levz (last name) will try to believe in the spirit of New Year’s Resolution and will try work hard to reach my set goals for the year 2011 by giving myself a more realistic option:

• I will CLEAN- I will not clean my room because that will never happen, I’M A LAZY ASS and I’m fully aware of that. But I will certainly clean my head from negative thoughts and remove my excess baggage, I will not put here what “those excess baggage” are but I've already made a truce with myself, I will not resist and I know what I mean by saying that!
• I will be HAPPY- because my own happiness is my own choice. People might say I am crazy and pretentious, but what do I care? I’m happy and that’s it, period. I don’t care what you do and how you think of me but I am happy and you will die trying to make me miserable…boohoo you! Hahaha!
• I will hold myself from being too confrontational- I said I will hold myself, I didn’t say I will stop from being confrontational or argumentative. Sometimes it adds a little spice in our life stimulates some dead brain cells and stops myself or others from being too full, I wouldn't mind some reality check from time to time and by saying that I also mean I will be OPEN.
• I will love those who love me and stay loyal to them- Look at those who are around you and ask your self was I able to keep their loyalty and have I given them what they deserve? At the end of the day it’s our family and the number of friends we have left, not the friends in good times but those who decided to stay when you are no one and you have nothing. Those few are your jewels.
• I will cut down my cigarette and alcohol intake- I said cut down but not quit. In time I might, I just don’t want to preempt myself and fail in the end. I promise to smoke only half pack or less a day and drink only when there’s occasion.
• I will not shop too much but save- I will (try) do it only every other month and save those shopping money at the bank.
• I will have more quality time with Wacky and Yuki, my babies. ^^
• I will not listen to distractions but take criticism to improve myself.
• I will have more patience- I am enduring, but I know I need to have more extra overflowing patience.
• I will read more books, try to travel and try to live more independently and free.
• I will work hard and have- more money more fun!

There is no way for me but my New Year’s Resolution I will use it to find the solution to all my predicaments. As we mature and grow with wisdom our fancy will start to fade away and we have to embrace the reality in our life, that‘s our gift, be thankful! Happy New Year Everyone!
