Interview 101~ The Reincarnated Levz

This is me undergoing reincarnation! Bwahahahaha!

I've been doing interviews for the past 3 days. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. It’s funny how some of them answer my questions and how the conversation went. I ask myself what is wrong with these people or is it just me!?

Interview I: The woman of 40’s.

Me: you have supervisory experience, why are you applying for an agent post?
Applicant: Because I don’t like responsibilities and I don’t wanna be responsible for anyone.
*WOW!*
Then I ask: are you saying that you’re afraid and can’t handle responsibilities?
She said: YES *with so much confidence*
WOW AGAIN! Darn!

Interview II: The Rock and Roll applicant

Me: Do you have any special skills or talents?
Applicant: Well, I don’t see myself as a talented person but I’m very competitive. I’m someone who wants to be on top among my friends, if not, I would rather kill myself.
WOW! That is very suicidal!

Interview III The Guru : The book salesman.

Me: Please give me a sample of your sales presentation?
Applicant: Hi Ma’am you better buy this book because this book will teach you about Karma and Reincarnation.
Me: Ok, but I’m not that interested in those two topics.
Applicant: You better be because sooner or later we will all die.
Me: *Jaw dropping on the floor* Have you read that book?
Applicant: Yes.
Me: Ok, can you tell me your understanding about reincarnation?
Applicant: Reincarnation is a transformation from one physical being to another.
Me: Can you site an example. *LOLS, I was betting he'll be using the butterfly's life cycle*
Applicant: You have reincarnated yourself from who you are now.
Me: What do you mean?
Applicant: you see, you have experienced reincarnation when you have transformed yourself from when you are a baby to a full adult, that’s the reason why you can’t remember your childhood anymore.
I’m so effin thunderstruck. I wanna say: what the hell are you blabbering about? For pitts’ sake that’s physical transformation and selective memory recollection!

I'm tired! I don't know, but the last time I've check you're suppose to give your best and sell yourself during an interview and pretend to be as normal as you can be, neh?

Anyways, I'm looking forward for more interviews and hoping that I'll be able to find the one that I've been looking for.

Facial Mask 101

I have this habit of buying beauty products but I’m really lazy using them. My concern right now is that I’m not getting any younger and I am fully aware that in few years or so I’ll be showing age mark so I have to find a way to delay those unwanted facial line. I found out that the major cause of wrinkles is skin dryness so my aim is to moisturize my skin.

I found this Whitening and Moisturizing with Essence mask at Watson, it’s a little bit pricey but compared to other mask the price is still affordable, some products would cost like 100++ but this one cost 55 pesos per sachet. I also love the eye mask, it’s soothing and very relaxing and I’ll be doing this combo every other day for two weeks then gradually reduce the days in to at least 2x a week.

On other days that I’m not making myself funny in those collagen masks I apply this peel off mask to take away those seated dirt, white heads and prevent black heads, this also takes away dead skins and pimple marks and cleanses my face. I can see how effective this peel off mask, it can also remove some of those stubborn facial hairs (although I’m lucky not to have many of those) and it leaves my skin softer. Then I followed it up with a toner and moisturizer just to make sure that my skin would not be dry, I use Garnier toner, eyebag treatment and moisturizer with SPF 25 to protect my face from the sun.

I have never been this vain before my daily regimen was just regular soap and water, but since I’m not getting any younger and it’s a blasphemy to lie about your age especially if you look much younger than some those who are 10 years your junior *JOKE*, lols.

This is what Wacky called the Michael Jackson Look! Lols
I'm so lovin this Eye mask!
Is this is for Halloween Preparation... My Hell Raiser look! Lols

And this Photo is totally out of place, hehehe. I'm just putting it here for vanity purposes...just to counter those ugly pics above this, I know, I know.... *sigh* Ok!? ^^

Freaky Thursday: Stairs Combat Exhibition!^^

My daily routine when I wake up~ first is to check on whom texted me while I was sleeping. I won’t read the messages yet but fix my coffee and lit my cig then open the radio and then take a bath. The only time I’ll be reading and replying to those messages is after taking a bath.

This morning after getting out of the bathroom I grab my phone and started reading messages while walking up the stairs! BIG MISTAKE! Both of my hands are on my phone as I was reading and replying to text messages and I slip face first! Everything was fast; I can see that it’s either my nose or my lips that will be landing on the edge of the steps, so I have to think quickly! I tilt my head and I landed on my chin.

I was shock and shaking, everyone was still sleeping, thoughts are running through my head... what if I hit it bad and die in that instance no one would be there to help me. I scream and cry, teehee! I cried! Hahahaha! My mom heard my scream and panicked, running, shouting my name and asking what happened. When I stood up I grab my face, *BS* my chin was swelling and damn how it hurts!

Stupidity is inevitable, this can happen to anyone we just have to experience first to be careful next time! Lols!

Be safe everyone! ^^

The Super Random Roadtrip to Tagaytay!

Long weekend, my cousins and I was feeling kinda bored so we planned a last minute trip. At 11pm, Sunday night we decided to head for a ride. The plan was to go somewhere *unsure* but we have to drop by at our cousin’s dorm in Carmona, Cavite. The reason (unbelievable): he forgot his cellphone charger and he wants us to bring it to him. Wow! For the time, gas and the toll fee just for a cellphone charger! But since we'll be going to Cavite we thought that we’ll just drop by at Tagaytay and eat somewhere.

The roadtrip is so freaking random. First, we tried looking for away going to Tagaytay thru Carmona and realized after few kilometers that’s its too far, end up going back. Exiting carmona and going to Sta. Rosa we only spend 4 pesos for the toll fee and finally found our way. When we arrived at Tagaytay we don’t have any exact place in mind so we went back and forth the highway looking for a place to eat. Maybe eat Bulalo or eat at one of the restos, then have coffee and laugh at Starbucks after. Unfortunately, since we left Manila at 11pm we arrived at Tagaytay at past 1am, all the restaurants were close. hahaha! but there's McDonald, the only place that is open 24hours. Arrgh!

After which, we thought that the trip was a waste but we still wanna drag ourselves and try our luck. So we started looking for a coffee shop since Starbucks is already close. Again we are wasting precious time and gas driving around Tagaytay. At 3am we quit looking for coffee and ended up taking pictures at Tagaytay Econo Hotel, hahaha! Just like your regular Duday and Dodong but since its 3am no one was there to notice our mischievous trip and we just don’t care, we’re just too happy to mind other people who are watching us!

We stop at a long line of flower vendors, my aim is to take my 365 on that area and I was welcomed by a vendor who thought I’ll be buying flowers, hehehe! So I have to think of a way to snatch pictures, I ended up inquiring for wedding flower arrangement and getting their contact infos and whatnot, *lols sorry ate!* We also stop by some fruit stands but there’s no one to assist us so we left. We had stopovers at some pitstop and gasoline stations just for the sake of stopping over. lols

We had so much fun that night and we promise to do it again. By the way, we didn't quit searching for coffee shop on our way down Tagaytay but luck is not on our side. I wonder if the coffee Gods are punishing us and we end up drinking coffee at home! hahaha! nothing beats 3-in-1 coffee! Darn!

And this is The Most Awesomeness (Random) Photo of the Day:

I took this inside the car on our way home while waiting for Nico who's buying cig at 7/11. I was amazed with the outcome, totally random nice selca. I really like this shot. I didn't even use my SLR just the regular digicam and edit the photo using Picasa, add shadow and manipulate the color and walla! A Perfect Artistic Profile Shot!

Chungkiwa for your Korean Food Cravings!

My cousin and I discovered this resto one time while looking for authentic Ramen *that she was craving* and Bibimbap *that I was dying to have that day*. First, we went to a ramen house but I find it weird that they are selling spaghetti so I said I don’t wanna eat there. So we went to Gen Luna where we saw Chungkiwa, they have a big tarpaulin outside the resto that shows their menu but it was all in Hangul. Looking at it, I thought that they might be serving authentic dish with affordable prices.

My first Stop:

We went inside and were greeted by Filipina servers, the restaurant setting was not that fancy, they have tables with grill holes and they have a fridge filled with huge array of side dishes. I never had a hard time ordering because I knew what I like but they still provide us the menu with Romanized characters and pictures. I ordered Dolsot Bibimpap and my cousin ordered Fish Cake. They started serving the banchan all 7 of them kimchi, macaroni salad, myulchi bokkem (dilis in sugar glazed), dubo jorim (tofu in soy sauce mix) and other preserved dish. The good thing about this resto is their side dishes can be refilled (unlimited) and they offer big serving. I’m happy with how they serve my bibimbap, it’s like I’m really eating in Korea. The owner is a Korean that's why they know how to prepare the food in a traditional way and their ingredients are authentic not to mention the price is super affordable.

The food:

After a few weeks I went back to Chungkiwa to bring my agents and they were all satisfied. We tried most of their dishes and we were all happy with how it taste. We had Samyeopsal wrap in sangchu (grilled pork belly wrap in lettuce), soondubujjigae (soft tofu stew with beef in spicy soup) , Seolleongtang (Beef stew with cellophane noodles and beef slices), Gimbap (rice wrap in seaweed) with Octopus, Bibimbap ( Spinach, mushroom, sea tangle, carrots, bean sprouts, beef slices, egg toppings served with gochujang and rice, you have to mix it well and add the rice and gochujang depending on the level of spiciness that you like), Sushi Bibimbap ( just like the regular bibimbap the beef was just replaced with sushi). We also tried drinking soju! After our meal they serve us Insam Cha a Korean ginseng tea and it's for free whenever you eat there.

The happy eaters ^^v:

I went to Mega mall and eat at a Korean restaurant there but I was disappointed with how they prepare my food. I told myself that I will never in other Korean resto but only in Chungkiwa, nothing can beat their food.

For 365: Camwhoring @ Chungkiwa ^^:

Chungkiwa is located in Gen Luna, Makati. They are open from 10am- 12pm, if you want more info you can call them at (02)385-1069. They have Filipino waitresses that can help you choose the food that you like and are willing to explain the dishes so you won’t be disappointed with your orders. I give them two thumbs up!

Bice Rest in Peace and Fly Away….

On my 1st blog this September I’ve mention about cutting my bangs to pay tribute to Bice. This is me now:

I was reluctant at first since I’m not the kind of person who would experiment on myself and I can’t remember the last time I had a full bangs mmmmm…I think I was in elementary.
This is my Mini tribute to Bice. Excerpt from my previous blog:
~~~>I’ve been listening to Bice *pronounce as bee-che* she’s a Japanese singer/songwriter; she composed several anime soundtrack like Mahoraba~ Heartful days, Kirarin Revolution and Kimi wa petto (Japanese Manga Adaptation). Unfortunately she died of heart attack last July 26, 2010. She’s just 38 years of age. She’s a genius songwriter and according to her last blog she was supposed to release a song or collaborate for an upcoming anime. I specially love her songs Cloudy Sky, Like Someone in love, Akubi, Tsusunde Ageru, and An apple a day. Her song Like Someone in Love and Cloudy Sky is constantly playing on my list. I’m thinking of cutting my bangs in full to show my heartfelt tribute to her ^^ Rest in Peace Bice. Kanpai anata no jinsei ni!
Bice (ビーチェ) is a versatile Japanese musician who works as pop-rock singer/songwriter, soundtrack composer, arranger and producer.
